Supply Chain in Health Care

Tour Mercy Hospital St. Louis with ROI

ROi (Resource Optimization & Innovation) was founded by Mercy Health in 2002 out of the belief that supply chain can be more effective and strategic when in sourced and integrated.

A recognized leader in health care supply chain management through a vertically integrated supply chain model, ROi has grown from a supply chain department at Mercy to an industry leader in end-to-end supply chain solutions servicing multiple health systems across the United States.  As an Accountable Supply Chain Organization™, ROi is transforming the health care industry by “cutting out the middleman” when possible, focusing on all aspects of supply chain from planning through fulfillment and consumption to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered in the most cost effective manner. ROi was ranked in the Top 10 for the seventh consecutive year in the 2015 Gartner Healthcare Supply Chain Top 25.

The tour will cover the history of ROi and its integrated supply chain model in health care, and offer insight into ROi’s hospital-based supply chain operations at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
